Veteran old time English folk and blues twangist and singer Ian A Anderson, whose solo gigs now mix up a huge variety of songs from his 50+ year career. Ian says: "It's based on an early white blues called Old Black Dog from the late 1920s recorded by Dick Justice and Bayless Rose, which I first heard done live by the heroic Spider John Koerner on his English tours in the mid 1960s. It has since encountered species re-assignment, relocation and financial inflation . . ."
